Meta to launch paid AI agent Hatch in coming weeks

Meta Platforms plans to introduce its AI agent Hatch over the next few weeks, and a new AI model named Watermelon is scheduled for October. Hatch is designed to access sites like DoorDash and Etsy, offering features such as a fitness tracker or trip planner. Built as a consumer version of the OpenClaw agent, Hatch is expected to use tiered pricing, including a premium subscription costing as much as $199.99 a month, according to internal documents seen by The Information.
