Meta fixes smart glasses loophole letting people record secretly

Meta is updating its AI smart glasses to stop people recording after covering the front-facing LED light. Alex Himel, the company's vice president of augmented reality, stated that the camera would cease to function if its light became obstructed while recording. The change comes after some users found they could bypass restrictions by covering the LED after starting to record.
