Coventry City closing in on £21m Cherif and £17m Awoniyi signings

Coventry City is reportedly near signing Sidiki Cherif for around £21 million, who will have a medical today. Manager Frank Lampard is also looking to bring in Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi for about £17 million. It's claimed Awoniyi is already undergoing a medical, aiming to join before Friday's Arsenal game.
