Italian city bans bikes after mayor hit by e-bike

Como, a historic Italian lakeside city, is banning bikes from about 30 streets in its centre from September. Mayor Alessandro Rapinese brought in the ban for public safety after he was hit by an e-bike in July. The new rules mean cyclists will have to get off and walk their bikes through the affected area.
