Premier League to broadcast player-referee audio during matches

Premier League to broadcast player-referee audio during matches

For the first time this season, the Premier League will permit the broadcasting of discussions between players and referees on the pitch during live matches. The RefCam system, integrated as a permanent element of top-flight coverage last season, is being extended. The sound will be provided within near-live instant replays, with one or two incidents from each of the 38 match rounds being shown.
