After-school care costs now up 42% in 10 years for primary kids

Parents in England are now paying 42% more for after-school childcare than a decade ago, with annual bills over £2,800 a child in some areas. The children’s charity Coram found the annual cost for 5 to 11-year-olds in England has risen by 5% in the last year to £2,636. This doesn't include holiday care, which adds over £1,700, or £700 for extra activities yearly.
