21-Year-Old Jordan Richardson Convicted of Planning Terrorist Attack on Shopping Centre

Jordan Richardson, a 21-year-old self-styled 'Anglo Jihadi' from Goole, has been found guilty at Leeds Crown Court of planning a terrorist attack. The recent Muslim convert was arrested in December 2024 with handwritten attack plans and instructions for making mustard gas. Richardson targeted Meadowhall shopping centre and shared extremist ISIS content online while expressing antisemitic views. After converting to Islam earlier in 2024, he rapidly radicalised within months. Police found weapons including a crossbow and combat knife at his home.
