£21 Pet Prescription Cap Plans Announced in UK
Pet owners could face lower treatment costs if the proposals become law. The UK government published plans on Thursday to limit prescription charges to £21, require every veterinary practice to hold a licence, create an independent regulator and increase price and ownership transparency across the sector. Vets say £6.7 billion is spent each year on animal care in the UK.
