14-Year-Old Former Nottingham Forest Academy Goalkeeper Dies in Railway Tragedy
Joshua Travis, 14, died after being struck by a train in Burton Joyce, Nottinghamshire, on Wednesday evening. The former Nottingham Forest academy goalkeeper and Aspire FC player was remembered as having an infectious smile and so much love to give. His family described him as having incredible energy for life and leaving an impossible gap to fill. Tributes poured in from football clubs, with Aspire FC postponing weekend games as respect. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
