£1 Billion Planned For UK Quantum Computing

The UK's quantum computing sector could create 100,000 jobs for people over the next 20 years. UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) plans over £1 billion of funding in the coming four years, building on previous long-term public investment. This record financial commitment also includes a further £1 billion government procurement programme, plus support for 100 quantum PhDs.
