eBay pays $56m to bloggers harassed by former executives
The payment is a settlement with David and Ina Steiner, who were targeted by a harassment campaign in 2019 for their online criticism of the company. Former eBay executives pleaded guilty to sending them a pig's blood mask and a funeral wreath. eBay itself was criminally charged and paid a $3m fine in a separate agreement with the US Department of Justice.
