PayPal's revenue grows 5% to $8.7 billion in Q2
PayPal announced its second-quarter revenue increased by 5% to $8.7 billion, despite a 12% drop in net income. The company saw total payment volume rise 10% to $486.4 billion and payment transactions go up 8% to 6.8 billion. PayPal additionally bought back approximately 33 million shares, spending $1.5 billion, and announced a cash dividend of $0.14 per share.
