Eight UK regions face heavy rain this weekend, Met Office warns
After weeks of sunshine, a band of low pressure will bring heavy downpours across parts of the UK this Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday, over an inch of rain is expected in one area, with precipitation initially impacting the northwest before tracking southeast. The Met Office has named 19 areas across the UK expected to see heavy rain, including three in Wales.
