Italy asks sacked Ukrainian defence minister Mykhailo Fedorov to become an adviser

Guido Crosetto, the Italian defence minister, phoned the 35-year-old tech specialist the day after he was sacked to pitch the Rome-based job. Crosetto told the la Repubblica newspaper on Saturday that he hugely admires how the young Ukrainian reshaped modern battlefield tactics with drones. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy had tried proposing different government positions, but Fedorov refused to accept anything except his old post.
