The Defence Secretary accepted £37,500 from Labour for the Long Term, a think tank whose founder had recently taken cash from jailed billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried. Lee Anderson, the chairman of Reform UK, has asked parliamentary officials and the Electoral Commission to look into the money. His team said the minister never dealt with Bankman-Fried and halted the donations after discovering the connection.
