Taiwan to test moving weapons factories during drills for a Chinese invasion
The defence ministry is holding its annual war games in August to imagine China hiding an invasion behind regular drills. Commanders want to see if they can move a major armoury away from Taipei and instantly switch civilian plants over to making weapons. Officials will intentionally throttle mobile phone networks to check if citizens can stay in touch when bandwidth runs low.
