Bank of England holds interest rates at 3.75%
The Bank of England has kept interest rates at 3.75% for the fifth meeting in a row, the lowest level since February 2023. The decision follows the Bank's expectation of a further rise in inflation this year. Three of the nine committee members, however, voted to increase the rate to 4% due to other inflation risks.
