Israel’s prime minister’s office said Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords would be a major advance for peace in the Middle East. It said recent US and Israeli military action against Iran, and what it described as Israel’s defeat of Tehran’s “terror axis”, had opened the way to widen the agreements. Donald Trump also said a US-Saudi nuclear deal depends on Saudi Arabia joining the accords.
