Shein posts $99m quarterly loss as US tariffs bite
Shein reported a $99m net loss for the first quarter of 2026, against a $395m profit a year earlier, in filings released before its planned Hong Kong listing. United States revenue fell 14.3% to $2.04bn after Washington ended the de minimis exemption on low-value parcels. The retailer took $41.85bn in revenue across 2025 and has sought a listing valuation of $40bn to $50bn.
