MHRA logs over 200 deaths tied to weight loss jabs
More than 200 deaths suspected of being linked to weight loss jabs have been reported to the MHRA via its Yellow Card scheme, including 120 involving tirzepatide and 59 involving semaglutide. The regulator said a report does not confirm the medicine caused death, only that the reporter suspected a link. Over 158,000 adverse reactions have been logged, and the MHRA said benefits outweigh the risks.
