Naga Munchetty to quit BBC Breakfast for 5 Live
Naga Munchetty is leaving BBC Breakfast in January 2027 after 17 years, the BBC confirmed on Tuesday. She will move to BBC Radio 5 Live to present its flagship breakfast show, broadcasting from Salford three days a week and London two days. Munchetty joined BBC Breakfast as a stand-in in 2009, and a new co-host for 5 Live Breakfast will be named later this year.
