West Midlands Police gave five year old Jaxon from Dudley a chief constable's young person's award in July for dialling 999 after his mother fell downstairs, hit her head and lost consciousness. Jaxon gave his address and looked after his three year old brother until officers climbed a back gate to help her. Chief Superintendent Gill Davenport praised his calmness.
