Who decided the Women's Open title by accident?
A marshal's ankle decided the AIG Women's Open when Esther Henseleit's tee shot struck him on the playoff's second hole. The ball ricocheted into a bush, forcing a bogey, while Shiho Kuwaki two-putted for par to win the title. Henseleit had forced sudden death with a 45-foot birdie on the 18th, but Kuwaki became Japan's second straight champion at the major.
