Germany approved 800m euros of Israel arms this year
Germany's arms exports to Israel reached approximately 800 million euros in the initial five months of 2026, exceeding the total for the preceding 20 months, according to information from the Federal Foreign Office provided in response to a parliamentary inquiry. Over 60 percent of the value related to one maritime project. The Dolphin II submarine INS Drakon, built by TKMS, joined Israel's navy last week.
