Why did Winehouse's court claim cost £950,000?
Mitch Winehouse must pay £950,000 to two of Amy Winehouse's friends after a High Court judge dismissed his claim over her auctioned belongings. He accused stylist Naomi Parry and friend Catriona Gourlay of wrongly selling 155 of Amy's items between 2021 and 2023. Judge Sarah Clarke branded it an 'inherently weak claim' pursued aggressively and ordered Winehouse to cover the women's legal costs.
