Wetherspoons Q3 sales growth slows to 3.4% from 6.1%.
Investors will watch the pub chain's trading update on Wednesday July 22 after like-for-like sales growth slowed from 6.1% in the second quarter to 3.4% in the third. The company has already warned that £60 million in wage and National Insurance costs, plus a £2.4 million packaging levy, will reduce profits.
