The automaker wants a judge to set fair prices for the technology before bringing new 5G cars to Britain. Elon Musk's firm took legal action in 2023 against InterDigital and Avanci, two groups that manage tech rights for multiple different owners. Lower judges previously threw the case out, but the UK's highest court decided on Monday that patent pools cannot dodge fair pricing rules.
