Residents of Nethy Bridge in the Cairngorms have been allowed to return home after a large wildfire was no longer considered an immediate threat. Police Scotland lifted the major incident declaration on Saturday night, following extensive work by fire crews and partners. The blaze has been burning for 10 days, with over 500 firefighters tackling it at its height.
