Suffolk wildfire spreads to 210 football pitches, nuclear plant on alert
Around 90 firefighters are battling a large wildfire at Dunwich Heath in Suffolk, which has grown to cover an area the size of 210 football pitches. Residents from about 200 coastal properties and caravans have been evacuated. The Sizewell B nuclear power plant remains on alert, although its operator EDF Energy states the station is not presently endangered.
