Russia accuses Telegram founder Pavel Durov of facilitating terrorism
Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) announced on Wednesday that it has charged Pavel Durov, the founder of the Telegram messaging app, with facilitating terrorist activities. The FSB claims Telegram has not removed channels used by Ukrainian special services and extremist groups for sabotage and cyber fraud in Russia. Durov, who holds French and UAE citizenship, has rejected the allegations.
