The software will predict the financial cost of court cases, taking aim at established tech leaders like Harvey and Legora. Vodafone is helping design the system rather than just buying it from Aavalynx, which secured £1.5m in early funding on Tuesday. Founder Hanna Roos says standard artificial intelligence isn't tailored for complex legal battles, arguing that a truly great tool makes them disappear entirely.
