Southport killer Axel Rudakubana charged with prison attacks

Axel Rudakubana, who murdered three girls in Southport, has been charged with multiple assaults on prison staff. The charges concern incidents occurring at HMP Belmarsh from May to October 2025, encompassing assault on an emergency worker and attempted grievous bodily harm. Rudakubana, 19, will appear in court via video-link on September 11.
