Fraudster must repay Royal Mail £5.1m or face 8.5 more years in jail

Narinder Sandhu, jailed for a £70m postal scam, has been ordered to pay back more than £5m from his illicit gains. Southwark Crown Court heard he falsely declared mail destinations for his firm, cheating Royal Mail between 2008 and 2017. If he fails to pay by 15 August, the judge ruled Sandhu will receive an extra eight-and-a-half-year prison sentence.
