Meta ordered to pay $567m more for child safety failures
A US judge in New Mexico has ordered Meta to pay an extra $567 million for not warning the public about child safety dangers on its platforms. The ruling brings the total the company must pay in the case to $942 million, making it the largest fine against Meta over child safety.
