Formula 1’s growing schedule has prompted fresh concern after the Bahrain Grand Prix was moved to Malaysia on 2-4 October following April’s cancellations. Former Red Bull mechanic Calum Nicholas said long travel, heavy workloads and time away from families can wear people down. He welcomed Red Bull’s 2025 scheme letting mechanics skip selected races and called for smarter race scheduling.
