China asks Britain for fair treatment after the nationalisation of British Steel
The UK government took full control of the loss-making metal producer last week because of national security concerns. The business used to belong to Jingye, a private manufacturing group from China, before the state stepped in. Foreign minister Wang Yi said on Thursday he hopes Chinese businesses will still get fair treatment in Britain.
