Reuters says Pakistan has asked the United States for a $10 billion exchange stabilisation facility after helping broker Iran war talks. The reported request would support foreign exchange reserves, ease pressure on the rupee and reduce reliance on IMF funding, while the US Treasury declined to comment. Pakistan’s finance ministry did not mention the request after talks in Washington on Tuesday.
