Working parents are facing an average bill of about £1,145 per child for six weeks of holiday clubs this summer. Research from the Coram Family and Childcare charity indicates that costs have increased by 5% in the last year. A week at a holiday club now carries a price tag of £191, which is more than 2.7 times the £70 cost of an after-school club.
