Amazon finishes paying its fifty billion dollar OpenAI investment
Amazon finished sending the last of a fifty billion dollar investment to OpenAI after starting the funding package in February. On Friday, July 31, the technology firm disclosed the last instalment via documentation submitted to the US regulator. Under the partnership, Amazon Web Services becomes the exclusive third party cloud provider for the OpenAI Frontier program.
