Ectopic pregnancy admissions up 4% a year since 2021 in England
Hospital admissions for ectopic pregnancy have been rising annually in England since 2021, increasing demand on NHS services. University of Liverpool researchers found these admissions rose by over 4 per cent each year after analysing 20 years of NHS data. The study, published in The Lancet, additionally indicates that the rate of admissions exceeded double in the most deprived areas.
