UK to see up to 95% partial solar eclipse on 12 August
Britain will experience its best partial solar eclipse in almost 27 years, with up to 95 per cent of the sun covered by the moon. Royal Museums Greenwich says the further south-west you are, the more coverage you'll see. Cornwall and Mizen Head in Ireland are expected to get the highest visibility, with London reaching 90 per cent.
