During a Friday patrol, helicopter crews spotted 35 infected and 49 dead greater crested terns on rocks outside Adelaide. Agriculture minister Julie Collins warned on Monday that the nation will likely see significant wildlife losses as the disease spreads. Commercial poultry farms remain completely unaffected so far, but officials have already recorded 74 individual cases across various states.
