China's StepFun launches world's first AI agent smartphone
Chinese startup StepFun launched what it claims is the world's first "agentic" AI smartphone, the StepX Neo, in Shanghai on Monday. The StepX Neo is designed to understand user intent and complete complex tasks across different apps without constant input. The device runs on Step AOS, an operating system built for AI agents, and features a personal AI assistant named Amoo.
