Airbus sees profits rise 54% after delivering 39% more commercial aircraft
The massive aerospace company made 2.43 billion euros between April and June, easily beating analyst expectations. It managed to hand over 237 jets to customers, while profits from its military and space projects went up by 90%. The business is keeping its target of delivering about 870 planes this year, while its American rival Boeing reported a loss on Tuesday.
