Vitabiotics, the vitamin firm, sells for £900 million to Bain Capital
Tej Lalvani of Dragons' Den fame and his family divested their vitamin empire, Vitabiotics, to the American private equity firm Bain Capital. The UK's largest vitamin maker is reportedly valued at approximately £900 million in the acquisition. Lalvani, who was CEO since 2015, said the sale is a defining moment for the company, which his father founded in 1971.
