ChangXin Memory, known as CXMT: China's top DRAM maker raised roughly $8.6bn in Asia's largest IPO of 2026, selling about 6.69 billion Shanghai shares at 8.66 yuan each. Now the world's fourth-largest DRAM producer behind Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron, it will spend the cash expanding capacity as AI data centres strain global memory supply.
