Two in three people struggled to sleep during June heatwave

During the late June heatwave, nearly 50% of individuals indicated that they were deprived of a minimum of three hours of sleep per night. A YouGov poll for Greenpeace found 86% of UK residents felt their homes were too hot, with a quarter feeling unwell. The majority of those surveyed further stated that their residences required improvements to manage subsequent heatwaves, yet 78% found these unaffordable.
